Steps to create the right Profile on LinkedIn:

  5. Make it Official & Public: Once you have all of the information that you need to get started building your profile, it is time to start putting it to use. Most LinkedIn users will not see your profile until they join your network. If you do not wish to have your profile immediately visible to all of your contacts, you can arrange for it to be made visible after you have been given access to it. Many people choose to have only their contact information posted upon joining their networks. Others opt to make their profiles private to only those who have the login information associated with the network.
