Most of us after completing our education look for a good job and start working .Our underlying passions , hobbies, hopes, thoughts etc. get buried in our daily 9-6 routine. This was certainly so three decades back when I started working. One could not perceive earning a good income by hobbies or passions alone. Most of our life was spent in a job which we may have not really liked. Thankfully things have changed. The online world has made it possible for anyone to follow their passions and earn online.
What or who is a passionpreneur? A passionpreneur is someone who has plugged into his or her passion and turned it into a profitable business while positively contributing to other people's lives.
All of us usually have some innate talent or passion. For example, you could be very interested and passionate about cooking, fitness, health, art, craft writing or anything else. You can become an online passionpreneur by putting your skills, talents and passions to use.
Here are the steps that you can follow to become a passionpreneur and turn your talent into a business.
Identify your Passion which you can monetize
You need to identify what is your passion and think about whether you can you monetize it. You can be passionate about many things. If watching television is your passion, you may not be able to monetize that. These are the three things that you need to be have clarity on:
· What exactly is your passion?
· Do you have the skills for it?
· Is there a demand for it?
If you have a passion for something , you must ask yourself if you have the skills for it?
If you don’t currently have the skills for it, can you learn those skills? Is there a market
demand for what you want to do? If there is no demand and you do have a passion,
talent and skill for something, you may want to reconsider and choose some other
more marketable passion.
2. Find your "Mojo"
· What problems will you be solving for others
· What problem/s have you solved your yourself?
· What problems do you deeply care for and do not want others to face?
This will help you Focus on what is your 'Mojo' and why you are doing what you are doing.
3. Personal Planning
While an online business may not require heavy financial expenditure like that of a brick and mortar business, you need to plan your finances.
You need to have financial confidence before you start on the path to becoming a passionpreneur. If you are starting from scratch, plan your finances. Have a reserve of at least 6-12 months as it may take that much to start earning anything from your business.
For your online business also you will need a running expense of around at least $100 -$150 per month apart from any training that you take to develop your online skills.
4. Build Your Personal Brand and create your Brand Resume
You need a home where you can share your personal experiences , your passions, your training, webinars, interviews, coaching etc. For this it is extremely important to create your ‘Brand Resume’. A brand resume is different from a job resume.
The purpose of a Brand Resume is to Brand you as an authority in your field.
It is basically your website-Your Home. This is where you brand yourself. This is where you share your story, your passion, your problems , how you overcame them and how you can help others with your knowledge and experience. You can share information which is free as well as information which your audience pays for.eg you could sell your books, coaching or training program. 5. Build Your Social Media Following and get Organic Leads and Sales for your Business

This may seem to be a lot initially, but once you have all platforms set up, every piece of content that you create can be shared across various platforms.
